Historical advertising motif for framing on the back Even discovering the details of the street plan makes model-making fun - the design is then left to each individual WIKING friend according to his personal taste. And who wants to breathe real WIKING history, it can do it even on the delivery role: There emblazoned the emphasis of the historic address label, with which the former Berlin modelers then reached the dealers. But that's not all: Anyone who has long dreamed of a historic advertising motif, the WIKING provided in the 1960s for dealers, can simply turn the street plan and frame. You can see the typical scenery of the traffic education of children by a Berlin policeman! WIKING road map reminds twice of history Nothing reminds us so authentically of the actual WIKING product philosophy of the legendary founder Friedrich Peltzer as the roll-out traffic plan - once suitable for every kitchen table, every school desk. With the road map, the WIKING on multiple collector's wish now presents as faithful reprint, Peltzer wanted to carry his pedagogical learning idea in the hands of children! In fact, the assortment concept was terrific. Just as he anchored a comprehensive program of ship models and port accessories in the entire German toy retail trade before the war, after the currency reform in 1948, the range of new transport models in Germany should score points. Already at the premiere was a simple street plan, which was of course still called "traffic school". Peltzer's idea to create an extensive system toy of mutually complementary miniatures, based on the road plan, which there were over the years with slight modifications in several variants and remained until 1971 largely the same. For the historic reprint, the time - more than 40 years after the last sale of the program - came about just because the numerous revitalized WIKING forms with beautiful contemporary miniatures have now earned an authentic living environment.
