Built to the current appearance of the modern Deutsche Bahn AG are the double-deck cars. They allow a significantly increased passenger capacity without expensive expansion of the platforms. The matching to the double-deck intermediate cars driving car DBbzf 761 allows the efficient shuttle train traffic without time-consuming conversion of the locomotive in the railway terminal, because depending on the direction, the double-deck control car is either pulled end identification or pushed on the Zugspitze.
All of the cars are built with warm white LED interior lighting. Control car with detailed buffer beam and an attached front spoiler. Lighted train destination signs. When donating locomotive (driving car ahead) lights up on the control car, a white three headlights. When pulling locomotive (locomotive advance) at the wheel cars burn two red tail lights.
