3077-1 EF10 third form The EF10 was a 41-car pre-war cargo DC electric locomotive for freight. Production began with the increase in transport capacity accompanying the opening of the Tanna tunnel on the Tokaido Main Line in 1934 (1934), and the area of ??activity was further expanded to the Joetsu Line and the barrier submarine tunnel just opened.
