3061-1 EF 65 1000 late form The EF 65 1000, which appeared in 1969 as a high-speed passenger for the EF 65, was one of Japan's leading locomotives active in DC flat-line electrified sections throughout Japan, from blue trains to general freight trains. KATO has commercialized the Blue Train Traction Machine that ran through the Tokaido Sanyo Main Line and caused the unprecedented "Bultre Boom" in the Showa 50's, and the EF 65 1000 Late Type (JR specification) for high-speed passenger cars in Tokyo Engine District.
