Epoch: IV |Gauge: H0 |Elect. system: AC Electric locomotive, class 152, of the German Federal Railways (DB), epoch IV. Model with built-in load-controlled digital decoder for the mid-range AC system and factory-fitted with exemplary sound (by LeoSoundLab). Drive on four axes. Coupling pocket according to NEM 362 with KK kinematics. 3-light LED headlight, alternating with the direction of travel. Red tail light. The highlights: ? Many separately plugged parts ? Functional replica of the dummy shaft ? Finest metal spoke wheels ? Modified wheel flanges for reliable operation on AC tracks ? Brake pads exactly on the wheel arch plane ? Separately switchable cab lighting ? Detachable ladders of correct length. They ensure operation on different model railroad radii. For the transport of long passenger trains on the electrified Bavarian main railways, the DRG procured a heavy electric locomotive. From numerous designs one decided for a 2'BB2'-Lokomotive, which should receive the same engines as the also planned freight locomotive BR E 91. With this new construction one proceeded from the previous construction method of electric locomotives with a slowly running large engine and decided for four smaller electric motors. Each engine group has two engines. A countershaft drives via oblique crank rods to a jackshaft, which is coupled by coupling rods with two drive axles. The locomotive, which is one of the heaviest with 140 t of electric locomotives ever built in Germany, made 2,200 kW and had a top speed of 90 km / h. The manufacturers supplied the locomotives in the years 1924 - 1925 to the Bavarian group management of the DRG, which they took as genus EP 5 with the numbers 21 501 - 535 in operation. In 1927 they were given the designation E 52 01 - 35. The remaining 29 after the war at the Federal Railway 29 copies were called from 1968 as BR 152. In February 1973, the DB with the 152 014 examined the last representative of this series. Towards the end of their service, the 152 classed in Kaiserslautern transported freight trains between the shunting station Einsiedlerhof and Saarbrücken or Mannheim. Such a move can be easily reproduced with the FLEISCHMANN freight car novelties of epoch IV. "Güterzug Einsiedlerhof - Saarbrücken": Art. 395273, 523301, 525702, 531405.
